The story of Espolòn Tequila began with the vision of our late Founder & Maestro Tequilero, Cirilo Oropeza, who dreamt of creating a modern Tequila so good he was proud to share it with the whole world. After years perfecting traditional techniques in the industry, Cirilo brought his dream to life, building an innovative distillery in Los Altos de Jalisco, renowned for its top-tier Tequilas.
At Casa San Nicolas (NOM: 1440), Cirilo first introduced Espolòn Tequila Blanco, a 100% Pure Blue Weber Agave Tequila ready to take the world by storm. 25 years later, Cirilo’s pioneering spirit lives on through Espolòn’s growing portfolio of Tequilas and the brand’s loyal fans.

Espolòn Tequila’s labels, inspired by the revolutionary spirit of 19th-century Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada, embody our brand’s essence—reflecting rebelliousness and unapologetic originality in Mexican culture.
In a unique collaboration with renowned Mexican street artist and illustrator, Edgar “Saner“ Flores, the inaugural limited-edition Espolòn Tequila Blanco 25th Anniversary Limited-Edition bottle is a vibrant celebration of Modern Mexico, featuring an original design that pays homage to our history, highlights our iconic rooster Ramón, and nods to both cultural traditions and our Tequila-making process.
With a pop of color, this bottle stands out as a visual journey through 25 years of inspiration and craftsmanship.

For over 15 years, the NALAC Fund for the Arts (NFA) has been the only national grant program of its kind, exclusively providing grants to Latinx/é artists and arts organizations.
