Cocktail Fights take place around the world, with competitions across the
United States, Mexico, Canada, Italy, South Africa, Indonesia, and Australia.
Each country hosts its own local competition and crowns one winner.
Those winners earn their place at the Cocktail Fights World Championship in
Guadalajara, Mexico, the birthplace of Espolon Tequila.
THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
In the Guadalajara final, the competition reaches its final stage.
Bartenders from around the world step into the ring and go head-to-head

Espolòn Cocktail Fights are a live, head-to-head bartender competition... the non-stuffy kind. It originated in the U.S. in 2013, first hitting the scene in New York City, and it’s been bringing that same loud, live, bartender-first energy ever since. Bold, high-energy, and rooted in Mexican fight-culture spectacle (lucha libre style entrances, attitude, and a “ring” mentality). No white gloves. No whispered critiques. The Espolòn Cocktail Fights World Championship (CFWC) is the global peak of Cocktail Fights. Local Cocktail Fights happen around the world, with each country crowning one winner who earns their way to Guadalajara, Mexico, where the final fight and global title is decided. The first edition of CFWC launched in 2025, and it’s now a yearly milestone for the brand: a recurring moment where Espolòn shows up loud and unapologetic for the on-trade community. Only one champion walks away with the belt. No quiet rooms. No expert panels. Just raw talent, crowd energy, and chaos.

You need to be of legal drinking age, actively working behind a bar, and ready to compete live.
